Job Description

As a System Administrator specializing in VMware, your role will involve the following responsibilities: - Managing virtual clusters using platforms such as VMware ESX, Linux KVM, VIOS/RHE-V, and Hyper V. - Providing support for VM and VM Vmotion operations. - Handling virtual hardware instances including LPAR, VM, and LDOM. - Managing virtual OS instances like WPAR and Zones. - Supporting virtual operating platforms, networking interfaces, virtualization management platforms such as Center and VIOS, and data stores. - Overseeing the management of VM templates specifically for Intel architecture. - Managing VM snapshots and policies as required. - Handling virtual infrastructure DB components where applicable. - Maintaining virtual infrastructure capacity management components and backup proxy, limited to supporting the backup proxy server for the virtual environment. Qualifications required for this role: - 4-5 years of relevant experience in system administration with a focus on VMware technologies.,
