This role involves providing L2+ level support, ensuring the health, availability, and performance of our AIX environments. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in AIX OS administration, patching, and troubleshooting, with the ability to react swiftly to alerts and resolve issues effectively. Roles and Responsibilities: Respond to and resolve support incidents, automated alerts, and product issues generated by monitoring tools. Perform AIX OS patching, upgrades, and vulnerability remediation to maintain compliance and stability. Administer and manage LPARs, VIOS, and HMC , including configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting. Monitor system health and performance, addressing issues related to CPU, memory, storage, and networking. Support DR activities, system backups, and restore operations. Troubleshoot and resolve issues within the AIX technology stack using technical and analytical skills. Provide empathetic and customer-focused responses to internal and external stakeholders, acknowledging operational pressures.
