System Administrator (Retail & F&B Systems) - Nanakramguda (Hyderabad)

Organization: The Organisation Harley’s Fine Baking (https://www.harleys.com/), is a European style patisserie (premium cake selling company) created by an IIM professor to disrupt the cake and coffee market, established to spread bonafide taste of the streets of Manhattan across the world. Brought into the world from a love for baking, the desire to create a meeting place that serves delicious food with a warm rustic environment. The Organization offers a full scope of Breads, morning merchandise, cakes, baked and savoury goods. Currently the team size is of about 200+ people with more than 15 outlets across Hyderabad, along with a plan of opening 100 new outlets across Mumbai, Goa, Vijayawada, Bangalore, Chennai scaling up to 1000+ people over the next year.

Designation: System Administrator (Windows Server / Linux Administration)

Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.

Certifications (if any)

• Microsoft Certified: Windows Server / Azure Administrator
• Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) (optional)
• ITIL Foundation Certification (preferred)

Experience: Minimum 2+ years in System Administration / IT Infrastructure Support._ Prior exposure to _Retail / F&B IT systems is preferred.

Job Profile: The System Administrator will be responsible for maintaining, configuring, and supporting the organization’s IT systems, servers, and networks to ensure reliable, secure, and efficient operations. The role involves managing system performance, user access, data backups, and troubleshooting issues to maintain business continuity and compliance with IT standards.

Job Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain Windows and/or Linux servers, desktops, and network devices.
• Monitor system performance and resource utilization to ensure optimal uptime.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights through Active Directory and related tools.
• Oversee data backup, restore, and disaster recovery processes.
• Apply security patches, OS updates, and antivirus measures regularly.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues; coordinate with vendors when needed.
• Install, configure, and maintain LAN/WAN, routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Maintain accurate system documentation and IT asset inventory.
• Assist with IT policy implementation, compliance, and audit readiness.
• Provide technical support to end-users and escalate issues when required.

Required Skills:

• Proficiency in Windows Server / Linux Administration
• Hands-on with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP
• Strong understanding of Networking (TCP/IP, VLANs, routing)
• Knowledge of Firewall and Antivirus administration
• Experience in Backup and Restore procedures
• Basic understanding of Virtualization (VMware / Hyper-V)
• Excellent problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills

Desired Skills:

• Exposure to Cloud Environments (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
• Familiarity with ITIL practices and ticketing systems (ServiceNow, Jira)
• Knowledge of scripting or automation tools (PowerShell, Bash)
