Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Administer and maintain Windows/Linux servers, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and file systems.
Design, implement, and manage virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
Manage cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), hybrid environments, and SaaS platforms.
Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure uptime and reliability.
Implement and maintain system security, including firewalls, antivirus, encryption, patch management, and access controls.
Lead disaster recovery planning and execution, including regular backup testing.
Automate routine tasks using scripting (e.g., PowerShell, Bash, Python).
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior IT staff.
Manage infrastructure projects including system upgrades, migrations, and deployments.
Document configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
Work closely with developers, DevOps, and security teams to support enterprise IT goals.

Preferred candidate profile

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
5+ years of experience as a System Administrator or in a similar role.
Expertise in managing Windows Server and/or Linux environments.
