SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR

As a System Administrator at IT Monteur, you will play a crucial role in managing and maintaining the IT infrastructure to ensure smooth operation of computer systems, networks, and applications. Your responsibilities will include troubleshooting, installing, configuring, and optimizing system hardware, software, and network services. Key Responsibilities: - Install, configure, and maintain servers (Windows, Linux, etc.) and associated software applications. - Monitor and maintain network infrastructure, troubleshoot network issues, and ensure network security. - Provide IT support to users, resolving technical issues, and maintaining helpdesk records. - Ensure regular backups are conducted and verify successful recovery of systems and data. - Implement security measures such as firewalls, anti-virus software, and encryption protocols to protect data and systems from unauthorized access. - Continuously monitor system performance, troubleshoot performance issues, and optimize configurations for maximum efficiency. - Regularly update system software, patches, and security fixes. - Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, processes, and procedures. - Work with cross-functional teams to support IT-related projects and initiatives. Qualifications Required: - Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. - 2-4 years of experience as a System Administrator or in a similar IT support role. - Hands-on experience with server operating systems (Windows Server, Linux, etc.). - Proficient in network troubleshooting and administration (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, etc.). - Familiarity with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V, etc.). - Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) is a plus. - Experience with backup solutions, monitoring tools, and IT security practices.,
