Job Description:
About the Role:
A Swasthya Mitra plays a vital role in connecting people from the community to the healthcare system.
You’ll act as a friendly guide and support for those who need help navigating hospitals, understanding treatment options, or participating in health check-ups and awareness activities.
By working closely with doctors, nurses, medical students, and local residents, you’ll help create a healthier and more informed community.

Your Responsibilities:
· Build Relationships: Be a bridge between community members and hospital staff, helping both sides communicate clearly and respectfully.
· Health Surveys & Check-Ups: Conduct regular health surveys, keep accurate records, and help organize routine check-ups.
· Community Mobilization: Identify those in need of care and guide them to the right services. Encourage participation in health programs and awareness campaigns.
· Support Health Camps: Help organize and run health camps with medical students—managing logistics, guiding attendees, and supporting follow-up care.
· Patient Support: Assist in scheduling appointments, diagnostic tests, and follow-ups, making sure patients feel supported every step of the way.

What We’re Looking For:
· Minimum graduation with any stream, Medical stream/work is a plus.
· Friendly and empathetic nature with good communication skills in the local language.· Basic knowledge of healthcare systems (training will be provided).
· Organized, dependable, and passionate about helping others.· Able to work well with teams and maintain clear records.
