SW Test Team Lead-Mainframe,Cobol,JCL

As a Software Test Team Lead at Amdocs, you will carry management responsibilities for a group of testing engineers. Your role will involve leading and mentoring small teams of functional, automation, and nonfunctional testing within a specific project or product. You will ensure that all project deliverables are completed to the required level of quality, promote team engagement and motivation, and provide technical and professional leadership to the testing team members. Your key responsibilities will include: - Providing input on test estimations, planning resource needs, and ensuring effective task allocation - Planning testing activities milestones, identifying and analyzing risks, and determining proper prioritization of testing activities based on potential business impact - Ensuring integrative coverage of test scenarios and leading formal and informal reviews with stakeholders - Acting as a technical interface with other teams to resolve and promote issues, communicate plans and conclusions, and make recommendations for issue closure - Supporting and promoting test efficiency and optimization initiatives Qualifications required for this role include: - Telecom Billing Experience (Preferable) - Effective and clear communication skills - Mainframe Batch Knowledge with hands-on experience on JCL, COBOL, VSAM, and CICS - Hands-on Experience on DB2/IMS/IDMS and Batch Scheduler (ESP/CA7) - Hands-on Experience in resolving abends/Errors and in Connect Direct (C:D) and MQ series - Test Data Preparation in mainframe (feed data to batch Cycle) and Automation tool (QTP, REX) using Mainframe platform - Proficiency in at least one cloud platform, such as AWS, Azure - Experience of System Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Test/defect management tool - Experience in writing Quality Test Design independently and Test Execution independently - Stakeholders Collaboration In addition to the above, you will love this job because: - You will be working within an extremely diverse and multicultural environment in a fast-growing and dynamic organization - You will have a rare learning opportunity within an experienced team, working on high-end technology and solutions - You will be working on market-leading software for the telecommunications industry Amdocs is an equal opportunity employer and welcomes applicants from all backgrounds, committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workforce.,
