NCR Atleos is looking for SW Engineer III to join our dynamic team and embark on a rewarding career journey. Software Development : Design, code, test, and debug software applications and systems. Utilize best practices and industry standards to create efficient and reliable code. Architecture and Design : Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other engineers, to create scalable and maintainable software architecture and design solutions. Technical Leadership : Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and contribute to the overall technical growth of the team. Project Management : Participate in project planning, estimation, and coordination with other teams to ensure timely delivery of high-quality software. Code Reviews : Conduct and participate in code reviews to ensure code quality, consistency, and adherence to coding standards. Performance Optimization : Identify and resolve performance issues in software applications, ensuring they meet performance and scalability requirements. Documentation : Create and maintain technical documentation for developed software, including specifications, design documents, and user guides. Testing and QA : Develop and execute unit tests, integration tests, and collaborate with quality assurance teams to ensure software reliability. Research and Innovation : Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies, trends, and best practices in software development. Propose and implement innovative solutions to improve existing processes and technologies. Qualifications : Education : A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Some companies might consider relevant work experience in place of formal education. Experience : Typically requires at least 4-6 years of professional experience in software development or a related field, progressing from an entry-level role (Software Engineer I) to an intermediate level (Software Engineer II) before reaching this position. Programming Languages : Proficiency in multiple programming languages, such as Java, Python, C++, C#, Ruby, JavaScript, etc. Software Development Tools : Experience with version control systems (e. g. , Git), issue tracking systems (e. g. , Jira), and software development environments (e. g. , IDEs). Software Development Lifecycle : Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and best practices for software development. Problem-Solving Skills : Ability to analyze complex problems, identify root causes, and propose effective solutions.
