Corps of Ordnance or EME
(Rank:
Colonel / Lt. Colonel / Major
).
In-depth knowledge of
procurement, logistics, and supply chain processes
within the Indian Army or Defence establishments.
Experience in handling
capital and revenue procurement
as per
DPM/DPP
.
Excellent
leadership and team management
skills.
Strong network within
MoD, DGQA, DRDO, OFB, DPSUs
etc.
Strategic mindset with experience in
business development and vendor management
.

Lead the
sourcing and procurement team
for defence sustainment projects.
Drive
business development initiatives
within the defence vertical, including identifying new opportunities.
Ensure full compliance with
Defence Procurement Procedures (DPP/DPM/GFRs)
and other government procurement guidelines.
Oversee vendor registration, onboarding, and development processes.
Prepare and review RFPs/RFQs, commercial proposals, and contracts.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely execution of procurement & support projects.
Provide expert advice on procurement risk management and cost optimization.
