Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Sushi Chef in a premium hospitality environment.
• Expert knowledge of high-grade fish and seafood, knife skills, sushi rice preparation, and presentation techniques.
• Strong understanding of food safety, hygiene, and handling of raw fish to maintain the highest standards.
• Ability to train and guide junior chefs in sushi techniques and maintain consistent quality.
• Well-groomed appearance and commitment to the grooming standards of a 5-star establishment.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and special events.
• Knowledge of Japanese etiquette and dining culture is an advantage.
• Proven experience as a Dim Sum Chef in a premium Chinese restaurant or luxury hotel setting.
• Mastery of traditional and contemporary dim sum, including dumplings, buns, rolls, and steamed, fried, and baked varieties.
• Ability to maintain authentic taste while innovating with modern presentations suitable for luxury dining.
• Skilled at managing production for high-volume service while ensuring consistency and quality.
• Knowledge of traditional Chinese dining etiquette is a plus.
