Job Description

Role Overview: As a Regulatory Filtering Analyst at Deutsche Bank in Bangalore, India, you will be part of the Service Operations (Operations) Profession, responsible for ensuring compliance with all sanctions and embargoes regulations. Your primary role will involve reviewing and confirming transactions, implementing internal control checks, and supporting reporting obligations to competent authorities. You will play a crucial role in protecting the bank from legal, regulatory, and reputational risks related to business involving sanctioned entities and countries. Key Responsibilities: - Support the RTB team lead in safeguarding DB from legal, regulatory, and reputational risks associated with business involving sanctioned entities and countries. - Diligently review and confirm transactions requiring escalation to a Level 2 investigator, ensuring full compliance with applicable Sanctions regulations and bank policies. - Execute internal control checks as per defined documentation and Embargo control framework governed by AFC Sanction & Embargo. - Assist in updating embargo lists in filtering systems and implementing data to central and decentralized tools in GT and Operations. - Collaborate with CoC Regulatory Filtering team on the onboarding of new clients. Your Key Accountabilities: RTB focus: - Review stopped messages and make decisions based on provided rules, recording rationale for decisions from a pre-defined set of options. - Seek feedback from senior investigators/reviewers for decisions failing the four-eye control. - Identify repeat mismatches to propose improvements and enhance filtering effectiveness. CTB focus: - Support TSMO/AFC-related change projects. - Assist in remediation actions owned by TSMO/AFC. Qualifications Required: - Proficiency in Sanctions and Regulatory Filtering. - Familiarity with SWIFT Message Format and Fields. - Strong MS Office skills (MS Excel, Word, and Outlook). - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Willingness to work in rotational shifts and weekends.
