Support Technician

As a Support Technician, your role will involve diagnosing and resolving technical issues at on-site locations. You should have a solid foundation in electronics and hardware systems to excel in this position. Your key responsibilities will include: - Diagnosing and repairing system faults involving AC to DC converter drivers and other electronic modules. - Performing hardware connectivity and circuit checks (pin-to-pin). - Troubleshooting and maintaining relay modules and microcontroller-based systems. - Using multimeters and other tools for diagnosing hardware issues. - Understanding basic Linux commands for system-level troubleshooting. - Resolving hardware-related system crashes and malfunctions. - Performing field visits to attend to system issues at various locations and ensuring timely resolution. - Documenting diagnostics and repair steps as part of standard reporting procedures. To qualify for this role, you should have: - A Diploma or Degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering or a related field. - Basic knowledge of microcontrollers (e.g., Arduino, PIC, etc.). - Familiarity with AC to DC converter drivers. - Understanding of relay modules and low-voltage systems. - Hands-on experience with hardware tools, especially multimeters. - Basic command-line knowledge in Linux (e.g., navigation, service restarts). - A problem-solving mindset and the ability to work independently in field conditions. - Strong hardware troubleshooting skills, including PCB-level inspection. - Willingness to travel for on-site support when required.,
