Role Overview: As a Support - Health Safety & Environment - Steel at Welspun World, your role involves supporting HSE functions to ensure a safe working environment for all employees. Your responsibilities include: Key Responsibilities: - Issuing personal protective equipment (PPE) to employees as per standard norms and maintaining records of PPE issued and returned. - Coordinating and investigating accidents, near misses, and incidents to identify root causes and prevent reoccurrences. - Identifying hazardous or unsafe acts in the plant area through regular inspections and reporting them to the relevant persons. - Ensuring all fire safety equipment is in working condition, conducting fire risk assessments, organizing fire drills, and providing fire safety training to employees. - Monitoring fire exits, emergency lighting, and maintaining records related to fire safety inspections, drills, and training. - Communicating HSE policies to all stakeholders and evaluating procedures and technology solutions to improve HSE data management and implementation. Qualifications Required: - Expertise in areas such as Business & Commercial acumen, Industrial Safety Norms, People Excellence, EMS, Entrepreneurship, First Aid Skills, and Fire Management.
