Job Description: You will be responsible for the thorough testing of the LIMS application before deployment or patch deployment, ensuring it meets the organization's needs. Your role will involve supporting testing of LIMS functionalities, developing and executing testing strategies, performing impact assessments, providing end-user training, troubleshooting issues, and maintaining comprehensive documentation of the LIMS implementation process. Additionally, you will need to be aware of documentation requirements as per GMP and ensure the system is in a compliance state. Key Responsibilities: - Support testing of LIMS functionalities to ensure they meet user expectations and approved specifications. - Develop and execute testing strategies to meet implementation timelines. - Perform impact assessments of newly added functions on existing functionalities. - Rigorously test newly introduced functionalities based on their impact on existing functionalities. - Provide training and support to end-users for proficient use of the LIMS. - Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to LIMS performance, functionality, and integration with other systems/instruments. - Maintain comprehensive documentation of the LIMS implementation process, including user guides and technical manuals. - Ensure documentation of the LIMS application is in compliance with GMP standards. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. - Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in LIMS implementation & Instrument Integration, preferably in a pharmaceutical or biotech environment. - Strong understanding of laboratory processes and workflows. - Proficiency in LIMS software, preferably expertise on CaliberLIMS. - Excellent testing skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Experience with regulatory compliance requirements such as FDA, GMP, GLP. Preferred Qualifications: - Advanced degree in Life Sciences, Information Technology, or a related field. - Familiarity with laboratory instruments and their integration with LIMS. - Experience with Caliber LIMS. - Good documentation skills for creating and managing GxP documents.
