POSITION SUMMARY:

The Supply Planning Supervisor is responsible for overseeing TUG Operations team to ensure PO Issuance, Style Master Setup and other activities are all in accordance with the operations calendar and deliverable deadlines.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THE JOB:

• Review weekly instock reporting and Off Price order files with the team to ensure completeness and accuracy. Provide additional guidance to team as needed
• Escalate process and data concerns to the Manager
• Work with Manager as well as Production Manager in NY on providing additional training and process understanding to the team
• Maintain Training Documents based on updated information received from NY Ops.
• Complete monthly calendars – 2 months at a time for team to use as guidance for workload
• Maintain and publish reports on a monthly basis to the leadership team in NY
• Effective and clear daily communication via e-mail with the overseas offices
• Manage, develop and train production planning staff.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

Experience:

• Overall 6 years of work experience with 2 years of Supervisory experience required
• Exposure of working with Global teams
• Experience using collaboration tools, such as SharePoint
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel

Education: Bachelor’s Degree required

• SAP/S4 expertise

Internal: HUB merchandising teams, ISM Vendors, IT Support teams, NY Operations team

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Direct: Supply Planning Specialist and Senior Planning Specialist.

Indirect: N/A

DECISION MAKING: Must be able to make decisions based on understanding of the business and from the training on data they have received.

RESOURCEFULNESS/CREATIVITY: Team player and must be able to multi-task and motivate others to take initiatives.

ENVIRONMENT: Immediate pressure to meet deadlines and deliver goods on scheduled dates. Significant part of the day is spent checking team’s emails and ensuring works is done correctly and in timely matter. Answering e-mails in a timely and productive manner is required.
