Postion Summary This position is to proactively identify, assess, and mitigate potential supply chain risks that could negatively impact the organization. This includes implementing risk management process, policies, and procedures, as well as monitoring and reporting on risk exposures. The Risk Manager will also work with all relevant stakeholders to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and collaborate cross-functionally to embed risk management practices into daily business activities and projects/initiatives. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES (Describe the major responsibilities and accountabilities of the position. Risk Assessment: Identify any risks during supplier onboarding, conduct the initial assessments, advise on the next steps and engage with the relevant stakeholders. Risk Mitigation : Work with the manager and collaborate with stakeholders to refine and implement risk controls, mitigation plans, and monitoring systems aligned with business objectives. Governance and Compliance: Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulatory requirements; stay updated on emerging regulations and standards and continuously enhance the SOP and policies as needed. Monitoring & Reporting: Continuously monitoring risk exposures, tracking key risk indicators, and reporting on risk status to relevant stakeholders and senior management as well as maintaining needed compliance documentation in repository. Risk Process and System Initiatives: Manage and implement all risk process and system related initiatives and transformation projects. Cross-functional Collaboration and communication: Effectively communicating risk information and mitigation to various levels of the organization and ensure alignment of risk practices across functions. Crisis Management and Business Continuity: Work with the manager and all relevant stakeholders to implement contingency and business continuity plans for events like supply disruption, political unrest or volatility. Supply Chain Resilience: Support the establishment and/ or enablement of supply chain resilience frameworks through the risk system. Support the development of resilience KPIs and performance metrics. Participate in cross-functional initiatives to embed resilience into sourcing, logistics, and operations. Support the business to coordinate across departments during disruptions. Support crisis response and recovery efforts. Escalation, Mitigation and Resolution: Implement the escalation process and work with all the stakeholders to mitigate the risks and/ or define the resolution.
