Job Description

As a highly analytical and detail-oriented Supply Chain Operations and Planning Specialist, your role will be crucial in supporting and optimizing end-to-end supply chain processes. Your primary responsibilities will include: - Developing and maintaining robust demand and supply planning models to support business objectives. - Analyzing historical sales data, market trends, and customer insights to forecast inventory requirements. - Collaborating with global planning and logistics teams to ensure material and product availability. - Optimizing inventory levels to reduce carrying costs and minimize the risk of stockouts. - Monitoring and reporting on key supply chain KPIs to drive continuous improvement initiatives. - Providing visibility into slow-moving and obsolete inventory (SLOB) and driving reduction action plans with Sales and Marketing. - Leading the SIOP (Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning) process, including data consolidation and insights generation. - Ensuring data accuracy in the ERP system and maintaining planning parameters and master data effectively. - Coordinating product lifecycle transitions and managing availability and inventory risks. - Engaging with third-party vendors and logistics providers to enhance lead times and service levels. - Identifying supply chain risks and developing mitigation strategies. - Partnering with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment with supply chain plans. Qualifications and Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field. - Minimum 5 years of experience in supply chain planning, operations, or logistics roles. - Solid understanding of supply chain principles, demand forecasting, and inventory control. - Hands-on experience with ERP systems (e.g., JD Edwards, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills. - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a commercial and customer-focused mindset. - Ability to manage multiple priorities, work under pressure, and deliver results in a dynamic environment. - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams. - APICS certification (CPIM or CSCP) is a strong advantage.
