Role & responsibilities

oversees the entire process of getting products from suppliers to customers, ensuring efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery

  • Strategic Planning:

    Developing and implementing strategies to optimize supply chain operations, reduce costs, and improve efficiency.
  • Procurement:

    Managing the sourcing and purchasing of raw materials, components, and finished goods, negotiating contracts, and managing supplier relationships.
  • Logistics:

    Coordinating the movement of goods from suppliers to customers, optimizing transportation routes, managing warehousing, and tracking shipments.
  • Inventory Management:

    Ensuring optimal inventory levels throughout the supply chain, implementing inventory control methods, and minimizing waste.
  • Performance Analysis:

    Monitoring and analyzing supply chain performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing solutions.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration:

    Working with various departments (e.g., sales, marketing, finance, operations) to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
  • Compliance:

    Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Risk Management:

    Identifying and mitigating potential risks that could disrupt the supply chain.
  • Team Leadership:

    Managing and motivating supply chain teams, providing training and guidance.
