Supplier Quality Engineer - Electrical

A Snapshot of Your Day As a Supplier Quality Engineer at Siemens Energy, you will be an integral part of our mission to ensure fulfillment of requirements to our suppliers. Supporting our cross-functional commodity and operational procurement teams by conducting qualifications, audits & assessments and developing our global suppliers is integral part of your daily contribution to implement the supply strategy. You will be working and close networking with multi-cultural environment with different departments locally and globally. SQE is addressing nonconformance with conducting containment, RCA, and implementing preventative measures & risk mitigation measures. The ideal candidate will be located or be willing to relocate to Gurgaon India. How Youll Make an Impact Supplier Qualification: Support a cross-functional team by assessing supplier capabilities, auditing supplier quality management system & processes, etc. Perform source / virtual / desk inspection of suppliers of components, systems and of responsibility. Coordinate nonconformance processing at the supplier and ensure appropriate actions are taken to prevent recurrence. Monitor supplier Key Performance Indicators and adjust quality, inspection, and development planning activities accordingly. Facilitate recurring supplier qualification & development status meetings. Ensure qualifications are on track and potentials risks are identified. Work with various Supplier Quality & Development tools and databases. Ensure data quality and transparency. What You Bring Bachelor or masters degree in electrical engineering, or a similar discipline. Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience will be considered. technical experience with industrial process technology in energy generation knowledge in electrical components such as Switchgear, E-house, Transformer, PCC, GCB, IPB, Motor, EDG, Cubicle, Inverter, Converter, Cable, Conductor, or etc. Strongwrittenandverbalcommunicationskills in English Familiarity with root cause analysis and other quality & risk management methodologies 3+ years’ experience in the technical field and/or working in Supply Chain Open minded, results & solution oriented and good analytical thinking. Advanced Communication/Presentation skills, basic Commercial Knowledge. Preferably experience as Auditor in acc. to ISO9001 and / or VDA6.3, or as nominated IMS supplier auditor (ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO45001) Project Management Experience preferred Willingness to travel including oversea~50%
