Supplier Quality Engineer - Electrical

Role & responsibilities

• New Supplier assessment
• Supplier Development
• Active participation in technical review meetings & provide conclusion
• Release of QRA - Quality Risk Assessment
• Performing onsite PSA (Potential Supplier Assessment) in India & Southeast Asia
• New part development for Engines
• Performing Process Manning Review
• Performing PPAP & Process Audits
• Regular Interaction with local and Global Teams
• Supplier Interactions, follow-up of Development Plans, Technological Decisions to meet project timelines

Preferred candidate profile

• Technical background with Electrical/Mechanical knowledge
• Must having sound knowledge about Electric & Electronic Components like Starter Motor, Alternators, Sensors Etc.
• Ability to work in team
• Effective communication skills
• Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
• Experience in New Product Development
• Hands-on experience in Component Development (Preferred Engine Components)
• Knowledge of Quality tools IFMEA, Control Plan, POCA, BD, PPAP, Should be familiar with APQP Tools and Process
• Must having Experience using Statical tools, SPC
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills & Fluent English speaker
• Knowledge about Six-Sigma will be added advantage.
• Knowledge of assembly/machining manufacturing process
• Knowledge of engines is considered a plus
