Supervisor- Press - Tool Repair

Job Description

This position is responsible for the proactive maintenance and repair of press tools within the Metal Shop, ensuring optimal performance and minimizing downtime. This includes providing expert technical support, developing and executing a preventive maintenance program for press tools (inspections, spare parts management, resource optimization, tool life monitoring, and root cause analysis), and driving continuous process improvement. The role requires strong collaboration with internal teams (Quality, Production, Technology Planning, Receiving, Tool Room, R&D) and external suppliers (machining services, raw materials, and spare parts). Ultimately, this position contributes to the Pre-Manufacturing Metal Shop's delivery reliability by ensuring excellent press tool repair support, reliable tool performance, optimum resource utilization, safety management, and training/competency development of tool and die makers in tool repair processes and EHS.
