Supervisor (Melting / QC/ Production)

As a Supervisor (Melting / QC/ Production), your role involves supervising and coordinating the activities of workers engaged in melting alloys for casting or further processing. You will be responsible for ensuring that melting procedures meet metallurgical and safety standards. Your key responsibilities will include: - Scheduling and monitoring furnace operations, including loading, melting, alloying, and pouring. - Inspecting equipment and troubleshooting issues related to furnaces, crucibles, ladles, and temperature controls. - Maintaining accurate production and material usage records. - Training and mentoring furnace operators and support staff on proper melting techniques and safety protocols. - Monitoring raw material input (scrap metals, alloying agents) and ensuring proper alloy composition through sampling and analysis. - Ensuring compliance with environmental and safety regulations, including proper handling of molten metal and waste. - Coordinating with Quality Control to verify that melted alloys meet required chemical compositions and specifications. Qualifications Required: - ITI/Diploma in Metallurgy/ Diploma in Mechanical / BE.Mech Experience: - Minimum 05 years of relevant experience in a steel plant or heavy industrial environment In addition, please note that this is a full-time position with a work location that requires in-person presence.,
