Position Description: Supervisor, Corporate Accounting

Reports To: Manager, Corporate Accounting

What We’re Looking For

Entrees (Requirements):

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of compensation and equity accounting principles.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (complex formulas, analytics).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail.

With a side of (Additional Skills):

• CPA/CA or equivalent certification (preferred).
• Experience with Dynamics 365, Shareworks, and ADP.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across HR, Finance, and Payroll teams.
• Familiarity with leveraging AI tools to drive insights on labor costs.

Unleash Your Potential: What You Will Be Doing and Owning

Monthly Accounting Entries & Reconciliation:

• Own and review monthly journal entries and reconciliations for compensation and equity-related activities, including stock-based compensation expense, payroll accruals, and related entries.
• Partner with the HR Finance team to align compensation-related data for financial reporting.

Equity Accounting & Reconciliation:

• Assist in preparing and maintaining equity rollforwards and ensuring accuracy in equity-related transactions.
• Perform monthly and quarterly reconciliations of equity accounts (stock options, RSUs, ESPPs).

Analytics & Reporting:

• Analyze payroll and benefits activity to identify trends and variances.
• Develop and implement process improvements to enhance accuracy and efficiency in payroll and equity operations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (HR, Finance, Payroll) to ensure accuracy of payroll data.
• Leverage AI to generate insights into labor costs.
