Role description: The Site Engineer will be responsible for assisting the Site Manager in the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of rooftop solar panels, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality. Key responsibilities: Assist the Site Manager in the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of rooftop solar panels. Conduct site surveys to assess project feasibility and identify potential issues. Monitor the progress of construction work and report any delays or issues to the Site Manager. Liaise with contractors, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure timely completion of projects. Ensure that all work is carried out in accordance with industry standards and health and safety regulations. Keep accurate records of project progress, including documentation of site inspections and quality control checks. Troubleshoot technical problems and implement solutions in a timely manner. Assist in the preparation of reports, presentations, and other project-related documentation. Provide technical support and training to other team members as required. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or a related field. 3-4 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in ground-mount projects. Knowledge of solar energy systems and their components. Familiarity with construction sites, safety regulations, and quality control standards. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
