We are looking for a skilled Subtitler / Subtitle QC Specialist with a strong command of English and a keen eye for linguistic and technical accuracy. The role involves performing quality checks on international content including web series, TV shows, and movies across various genres ensuring subtitles meet both linguistic and technical standards per client specifications.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with subtitle creation and conformance workflows, QC processes, and file output generation across multiple formats.
• Sound understanding of technical subtitling workflows, file formats, and encoding standards.
• Familiarity with subtitle output formats: TTML, CAP, PAC, SCC, XML, etc. • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and analytical skills. • Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously. • Experience with OTT platform subtitle delivery requirements (e.g., Netflix, Amazon, Disney+, Apple TV+).
