Substation Energy Audit

As a Substation Energy Auditor, your role involves conducting detailed surveys and audits of Power Substations to ensure efficient operation and energy management. Your key responsibilities include: - Surveying Power Substation Setup (PSS) to assess the overall infrastructure. - Checking line diagrams, connectivity, and status of all incoming and outgoing lines. - Segregating incoming and outgoing lines based on voltage levels (33/11KV). - Examining feeder operations, CT/PT status, and connectivity diagrams. - Verifying Multiplying Factors (MF) and making necessary corrections. - Analyzing energy flow into the substation versus outgoing energy, calculating associated losses. - Identifying potential causes for energy losses at the Power Substation. - Establishing connectivity and tagging of feeders to Distribution Transformers (DT) at the PSS level. - Conducting visits to DTs and verifying the Distribution Transformer to Consumer Premises Ratio (DTCPR). - Preparing Single Line Diagrams (SLD) for PSS, feeders, and DTs. - Identifying switching/boundary points and tagging them accordingly. - Mapping different types of feeders/DTs and associating them with the respective PSS, including new incoming lines.
