Subject Matter Specialist - Insurance

Role Overview: You will be an experienced Engineer with more than 20 years of experience in the insurance industry, specifically in handling big claims in Property, Engineering, Liability, and Marine sectors. Your role will involve utilizing your technical expertise and in-depth knowledge to evaluate risk exposures, identify gaps in insurance coverage, and present solutions to clients. You should be self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently while collaborating with the team. Key Responsibilities: - Utilize your technical expertise to assess the Technical aspects in the Commercial Lines of Business. - Evaluate risk exposures, identify gaps in insurance coverage, and present solutions to clients. - Work with underwriting teams to provide technical insights for risk evaluation and policy formulation. - Collaborate with clients and internal teams to develop customized insurance solutions. - Build and maintain strong client relationships, providing ongoing technical support throughout the insurance process. - Participate in industry events to promote the firm's expertise in Commercial lines of business. - Assist in training and mentoring junior team members, sharing your technical knowledge and industry insights. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or Civil Engineering. - More than 20 years of experience in the insurance industry on the technical side. - Hands-on experience in a techno-marketing role. - Willingness to relocate if required.
