Job Title: Subject Matter Expert (SME) – Science

About the Role

We are looking for a passionate and knowledgeable Science Subject Matter Expert (SME) to create, review, and enhance high-quality academic content. The ideal candidate should have strong conceptual clarity, a learner-first mindset, and the ability to simplify complex scientific concepts for school students.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop accurate and engaging Science content aligned with CBSE/ICSE/State Board/International curricula
• Create lesson plans, worksheets, assessments, quizzes, and solution explanations
• Review and validate existing content for conceptual accuracy, clarity, and curriculum alignment
• Collaborate with curriculum designers, educators, and product teams
• Adapt content for digital platforms including videos, presentations, and interactive modules
• Ensure content meets quality benchmarks and academic standards
• Incorporate feedback to continuously improve content effectiveness

Subject Coverage

• Physics
• Chemistry
• Biology
• (Grades: 6–10 preferred)

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Science (Physics/Chemistry/Biology) or related field
• Strong understanding of school-level curriculum and exam patterns
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to explain concepts in a simple, student-friendly manner
• Experience in content creation, teaching, or academic roles is a plus

Preferred Skills

• Prior experience as SME / Educator / Content Developer / Faculty
• Familiarity with EdTech platforms or digital learning tools
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Basic understanding of instructional design is an advantage
