Subject Matter Expert (Mathematics)

About the Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Subject Matter Expert (SME) – Mathematics to join our academic content team. The SME will be responsible for creating, reviewing, and validating high-quality academic content for school and competitive examination segments. The role demands strong subject knowledge, analytical ability, and the capability to design learner-friendly content.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and review error-free, conceptually accurate, and well-structured academic content in Mathematics.
• Create step-by-step solutions, practice papers, test items, and explanatory notes for school curriculum and/or competitive exams (as per requirement).
• Ensure alignment of content with prescribed syllabus (CBSE, ICSE, State Boards, NCERT, or entrance exams like JEE/NEET, depending on project).
• Proofread and fact-check questions, answers, and explanations to maintain accuracy and quality.
• Work closely with editorial, design, and product teams to ensure timely delivery of content.
• Stay updated with the latest curriculum changes, exam patterns, and pedagogical practices.
• Provide subject expertise in workshops, teacher interactions, and product enhancement discussions if required.

Requirements:

• Postgraduate/Graduate degree in Mathematics or a related field (B.Sc./M.Sc./B.Tech/M.Tech).
• Strong conceptual understanding of Mathematics across K–12 and/or higher-level competitive exams.
• Prior experience in content development, teaching, or editing will be an added advantage.
• Excellent written communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to deliver high-quality work within deadlines.
