What We Need: Education: Bachelors or Masters degree in English with education specialty Employment Type: Full-Time - Freelancer Experience: 5+years of experience in teaching / developing primary language and literature content, digital content exp preferred. As a Subject Matter Expert English (Primary Years), you will play a pivot role in designing and developing engaging. Concept-driven English content for students in Grades 1-5. Your focus will be on creating digital-first, age-appropriate and curriculum aligned content that supports conceptual clarity and language thinking among young learners. You will work closely with instructional designers, developers, and creative teams to deliver high-quality, interactive content that simplifies language through stories, visuals, manipulatives, and experiential learning strategies. Your Key Responsibilities: Establish a strong vision and provide strategic content development for English in the Primary Years Product as a globally scalable module of School AI. Coordinate as per the Head of Education Primary years to align the content with product specifications and ensure readiness. Develop comprehensive grade-wise language - English curriculum maps, aligned with national and international standards. Primary Years Curriculum overview, Validation and design the curriculum as per the grade levels. Design interactive digital learning experiences using the CPA (Concrete-Pictorial-Abstract) approach and real-world applications. Create a wide range of content including videos, worksheets, assessments, puzzles, games, and activities that support student understanding. Build diagnostic, formative, and summative assessments with performance rubrics and fluency checks. Research best practices in primary language - English instruction, curriculum reforms (e.g., NEP 2020), and innovative EdTech tools to continuously improve content. Collaborate with design and tech teams to ensure content is visually engaging and learner-friendly. Conduct internal reviews and integrate academic feedback to ensure content quality, coherence and grade-appropriateness. Align all deliverables with project timelines and product requirements. Key Skills Requirement: Pedagogical Expertise in IB Primary English pedagogy and curriculum Experience with visual models, story-based instruction, and inquiry-driven learning. Proficiency in tools like Google Workspace, Canva, GeoGebra, or other digital content creation platforms. Attention to detail, creativity, and the ability to simplify language English concepts. Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, remote work environment.
