Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Load Runner and Stress Testing professional to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, designing, and executing performance tests using LoadRunner. You will also be responsible for analyzing the results and making recommendations to improve the performance of our software applications. Your role will be crucial in ensuring our systems can handle the stress of real-world use and can perform optimally under high traffic conditions.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute load and stress tests using LoadRunner or similar tools.
• Analyze test results and coordinate with development teams for bug fixes.
• Generate test reports for management and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure software performance standards are met.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in LoadRunner or similar load testing tools.
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and stress testing.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of other testing tools like JMeter, Silk Performer, etc.
• Familiarity with programming languages such as Java, C++, Python.
• Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC).
• Experience with performance tuning, load balancing, and capacity planning.
• Knowledge of SQL and database management.
• Familiarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies.
• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, etc.
• Understanding of web technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
• Knowledge of network protocols and server configurations.
• Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
