Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai for a Study Abroad Counsellor. The role involves guiding students through the process of selecting and applying to overseas universities, providing personalized counseling sessions, and offering detailed advice on courses, universities, and career prospects. Other responsibilities include supporting students with visa processes, preparing necessary documentation, and delivering pre-departure assistance to ensure a smooth transition abroad. The Study Abroad Counsellor will work closely with students to support their educational aspirations.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal, communication, and counseling skills to guide students effectively
• In-depth knowledge of global education systems, university admission processes, and visa requirements
• Organizational and administrative skills to manage applications, deadlines, and documentation
• Research and problem-solving abilities to provide innovative and tailored solutions
• Proficiency in using digital tools for communication and presentations
• Prior experience in academic counseling or international education is an advantage
• Bachelor's degree in Education, Counseling, or related field preferred
• Passion for guiding students and familiarity with cultural sensitivity and diversity
