Student Relationship Officer - Dombivili

About the Role

As a Student Relationship Officer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the success of our skilling and livelihood programs by actively supporting and mentoring students through every stage of their journey—from enrollment to employment and beyond. You will be the bridge between the students and program outcomes, ensuring impactful delivery, engagement, and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities

• Program Implementation & Outcomes
• Ensure smooth execution of program activities at the center to meet throughput and outcome targets.
• Youth Engagement & Leadership Development
• Work closely with students to nurture leadership within each batch.
• Identify and support alumni volunteers to promote program awareness and participation.
• Skilling Progress Monitoring
• Track attendance, identify learning challenges, coordinate follow-ups, and share feedback with the skilling team to ensure skill completion with demonstrable outcomes.
• Placement Readiness & Job Linkages
• Collaborate with the placement team to ensure each student undergoes placement training and attends scheduled interviews.
• Retention & Program Sustainability
• Promote consistent participation and commitment among students to minimize dropouts and ensure long-term engagement.
• Data & Technology Management
• Maintain up-to-date records on platforms like Master Sheet and WeConnect.
• Analyze data to generate actionable insights and support continuous program improvement.
• Center Operations & Role Modelling
• Support the Center Head in day-to-day operations.
• Exhibit behavior aligned with Lighthouse values and culture, serving as a role model for students.

Who We Are Looking For

• Education: BBA / MBA / MSW or equivalent in a relevant field
• Experience: 3–4 years of experience, preferably in skilling or livelihood programs
• Languages: Proficiency in Marathi, Hindi, and English (spoken and written)
• Key Skills:
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
• Comfort with data analysis and basic technology platforms
• Experience working with youth from low-income communities
• Ability to build trust and rapport with diverse stakeholders
• Empathetic, patient, and driven by a passion for social change
