Student Counselor – Study Abroad

About the Role:
We are looking for a passionate female Study Abroad Counselor / Student Counselor to join our team at Edroots International, Trivandrum. In this role, you will assist students in choosing the right universities, courses, and countries based on their academic background, career goals, and financial capacity. As the primary contact for students and parents, you will provide end-to-end guidance and ensure a smooth study abroad journey.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as a Student Counselor / Study Abroad Counselor, guiding students and parents with academic and career counseling.
• Assess student profiles and recommend suitable study abroad programs, universities, and destinations.
• Provide accurate information about courses, admissions, scholarships, and visa requirements.
• Support students through every stage—applications, documentation, interviews, and visa processes.
• Maintain timely communication, follow-ups, and update student records in CRM.
• Coordinate with internal teams (Processing, Documentation, IELTS, Visa) to ensure a seamless experience.
• Offer pre-departure and post-departure support to students.
• Represent Edroots International at expos, seminars, and promotional events as required.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in any field.
• 2+ years of experience as a Study Abroad Counselor / Student Counselor (or similar role).
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of international education systems and visa processes.
