Student Counselor

If so, we'd love for you to join our team as a Study Abroad Student Counselor!

Responsibilities:

• Conduct in-depth consultations with students to understand their academic goals, interests, and financial background.
• Research and recommend suitable universities and programs based on student profiles and preferred destinations.
• Assist students with application procedures, including essay writing, letter of recommendation guidance, and application deadlines.
• Prepare students for standardized tests like SAT, ACT, IELTS, or TOEFL (if required).
• Guide students through the scholarship and financial aid application process.
• Assist with visa applications and pre-departure preparations (housing, insurance, etc.).
• Organize information sessions and workshops on studying abroad.
• Maintain a strong understanding of university application requirements, deadlines, and program offerings in various countries.
• Develop and maintain relationships with universities and educational institutions abroad.
• Track student progress and provide ongoing support throughout the application process.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in International Relations, Education, or a relevant field (preferred).
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in student counseling, preferably with a focus on study abroad.
• Strong knowledge of international education systems and universities worldwide.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Ability to build rapport with students from diverse backgrounds.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills for effective guidance and document preparation.
• Proficiency in research methods and data analysis.
• Familiarity with the application process for various universities and scholarship programs.
• Up-to-date knowledge of visa requirements and regulations for popular study abroad destinations.
• The ability to travel occasionally for college fairs or university visits (a plus).

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
