Student Admission Officer

As an Admissions Officer at Queen Mary University of London, your role is crucial in providing advice and support to potential applicants, ensuring the smooth processing of applications, and contributing to the overall recruitment and admissions process. Your responsibilities include: - Providing advice on admissions policy, entry requirements, and overseas qualification equivalencies - Checking and processing applications in line with admissions policy and procedures - Collaborating with academic schools on selection decisions and application status - Making offers and rejections based on agreed criteria - Recording decisions accurately in the admissions system - Providing data and statistics to the London office - Preparing applicant records for enrollment and supporting the enrollment process - Prioritizing workload to meet deadlines, exercising initiative and judgment when needed - Developing expertise in designated academic subject areas - Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation at all times Additionally, you may be required to undertake other duties as requested by your line manager.
