Structural Expert in Dams & Hydropower

You will be working as a Structural Expert in Dams & Hydropower at SMEC, a global engineering and infrastructure consulting firm with a focus on positively impacting people, the environment, and the clients and communities served. As part of the company's specialist teams, you will play a key role in delivering integrated engineering solutions for projects ranging from remote locations to urban surroundings. Your responsibilities will include designing, analyzing, and overseeing structural elements of dams and hydropower projects, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the successful delivery of projects. The role is a full-time on-site position based in Gurugram. To qualify for this role, you should have a minimum of 12 years of experience in structural designing of infrastructure projects related to hydro and dams, including hydroelectric projects. You should possess strong structural design and analysis skills, along with experience in dam and hydropower projects. Knowledge of safety standards and regulations is essential, and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset is key to success in this role. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills are required, and candidates with a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Structural Engineering or a related field will be preferred. A professional engineering license would be a plus.
