Job Title Structural Designer Location Chennai / Coimbatore / Hyd / Pune or Bangalore Exp 4 to 8yrs Notice period Immediate Joiners Job Description The role is to produce designs for engineering projects ranging from 11kV through to 132kV for Contestable works as an ICP and client-side balance of plant works. Duties and Responsibilities Taking ownership of a project. Creating drawings using AutoCAD 2D/3D, Revit & Civils 3D. Carry out structural calculations for onsite structures designed by the Civils team using TEKLA/TEDS Carry out detailed rebar design for concrete bases, foundations and transformer bunds Carry out detailed calculations for piling caps and steel platforms Proficiency with British and European standards, and Building Regulations Resolve technical problems and issues to support the delivery of projects or design objectives. Prepare technical reports for both internal and external purposes. Provide technical administrative support including project advice and design assessments. Liaise with internal and external stakeholders Creating Design Risk Assessments. Assisting junior or less experienced design engineers in their development. Produce detailed designs from 11kv-132kv in compliance with Industry standards within time and budget.
