Structural Design Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design & Analysis:

Create and review structural designs for residential, commercial, and industrial building projects.

Perform structural analysis and calculations to determine load capacities, material requirements, and safety measures.

2. Software Utilization:

Use design software such as STAAD Pro, ETABS, SAP2000, AutoCAD, and Revit for structural modeling and detailing.

3. Project Coordination:

Collaborate with architects, MEP engineers, and construction teams to align structural designs with overall project requirements.

Conduct site visits to ensure designs are implemented accurately.

4. Standards & Compliance:

Ensure structural designs meet local and international building codes, safety standards, and regulations.

Prepare and review design documentation, reports, and drawings.

5. Problem Resolution:

Address and resolve any structural issues or discrepancies that arise during construction.

6. Material Selection:

Recommend appropriate construction materials based on project specifications and budget.

Qualifications & Skills:

Educational Background:

Bachelors or masters degree in civil/Structural Engineering.

Experience:

Proven experience in structural design for building projects, ideally with exposure to high-rise buildings.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in structural analysis software (e.g., STAAD Pro, ETABS).

Strong knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit for drafting and modeling.

Familiarity with relevant building codes and standards (e.g., IS Codes, ACI, Eurocodes).
