As a Catering Sales Manager at Four Seasons Hotel Mumbai, your primary role is to secure and service catering business from the Social and Corporate Market while maintaining FS standards and maximizing revenue/profit potential. Your responsibilities include: - Actively soliciting new business and responding to inquiries to confirm profitable catering business and achieve Quarterly Sales Goals. You will maintain an active trace/follow-up system on all inquiries and personal sales calls. - Conducting property tours and entertaining planners of meetings, social events, and weddings. - Planning and/or attending various meetings with hotel staff and clients to ensure smooth coordination for successful events. - Coordinating the sales efforts between the sales department and catering to maximize revenue potential through up-selling and effective communication with all departments. - Finalizing the requirements of confirmed bookings and ensuring accuracy of banquet checks. - Keeping the Director of Catering/Catering Conference Services informed of all issues for prompt corrective action. - Supervising the execution of banquet events and ensuring client satisfaction. - Responding to resort emergencies or safety situations as per the crisis management plan. - Proactively going out for sales calls and working closely with the sales buddy to coordinate tasks. - Complying with Four Seasons standards for sales and marketing and assisting the Conference Services Department as required. - Mentoring and developing Administrative staff for future career growth. - Assisting with guest inquiries within the Sales, Marketing, and Conference Services Department. - Providing input on the marketing plan and budget and maintaining a visible presence in the community through involvement with Industry associations. - Assisting in developing and executing projects to increase catering activity, volume, and profit in assigned market areas. Qualifications Required: - College Education preferred - 3-5 years of previous catering sales and/or banquet assistant manager/captain experience. Skills and Abilities: - Excellent reading, writing, and oral proficiency in the English language. - Strong selling and interpersonal skills. - High level of creativity and attention to detail. - Ability to handle multiple tasks and make decisions in a fast-paced client-driven environment. - Ability to work long and irregular hours, weekends, and evenings. - Proficiency in Delphi Sales and Catering Computer Software, MS Word, Excel, and ability to use email and the Internet.,
