The Finance Operations Analyst position at Fivetran is an integral role within the Corporate FP&A team, supporting critical finance operations. In this role, you will be responsible for various tasks, including preparing executive reports, decks, and system administration for Pigment, our financial planning tool. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain exposure to financial operations in a fast-growing global SaaS environment. You will collaborate with team members from FP&A, Accounting, and Data Analytics to contribute to essential deliverables that drive strategic decision-making within the organization. Based in our Bengaluru office, this full-time position follows a hybrid work model that combines remote flexibility with in-person collaboration. You will interact with colleagues across different time zones and functions, requiring availability for meetings with US-based teams during specific hours. Your responsibilities will involve supporting monthly and quarterly executive reporting processes, maintaining FP&A deliverables, performing data entry and updates in Pigment, and ensuring consistent reporting across business units through cross-functional collaboration. Additionally, you will identify opportunities for automation and process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce manual work. The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of experience in FP&A, preferably in a high-growth SaaS or tech environment. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in Google Workspace tools, especially Google Sheets and Slides, are essential. Familiarity with financial planning tools like Pigment or Anaplan is a plus, along with excellent communication and collaboration abilities. The role may also involve working with structured datasets, implementing automation, and documenting workflows and reporting standards for long-term scalability. Additional skills such as basic SQL knowledge, experience with data visualization tools, and familiarity with finance systems like NetSuite or Workday are considered advantageous.
