Position Overview

STP Operator

Key Responsibilities

Operate and monitor STP equipment such as pumps, blowers, compressors, and dosing systems.
Carry out routine checks for process parameters such as pH, DO, MLSS, BOD, COD, turbidity, etc.
Perform daily plant inspections and record all operational data in logbooks.
Conduct regular backwashing, sludge handling, chlorination, and other essential operations.
Perform basic troubleshooting and support maintenance activities.
Ensure adherence to safety norms and maintain clean work areas.
Coordinate with the Site In-charge for consumables, chemical requirements, and reporting.

Required Skills & Competencies

Hands-on experience with STP technologies like MBBR / SBR / Conventional systems.
Knowledge of wastewater treatment processes and routine plant operations.
Ability to understand safety guidelines and follow safe operating practices.
Basic understanding of pumps, valves, electrical panels, and pipeline systems.
Good communication skills and discipline in reporting.
