Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Stores & Inventory Management

Manage day-to-day stores operations including receipt, storage, issue, and dispatch of materials.
Ensure optimum inventory levels through effective planning and control.
Conduct periodic physical stock verification and reconcile discrepancies.
Monitor slow-moving, non-moving, and obsolete inventory (SM/NS/OB).

SAP MM & Documentation

Handle SAP MM transactions:

Goods Receipt (GRN)
Goods Issue
Stock Transfer
Purchase Order follow-ups
Inventory adjustments

Maintain accurate records in SAP for all material movements.
Generate MIS reports related to inventory, consumption, and stock valuation.

Compliance & Process Control

Ensure adherence to company policies, internal controls, and audit requirements.
Maintain proper documentation for inbound and outbound materials.
Support internal and external audits related to stores and inventory.

Coordination & Support

Coordinate with Purchase, Production, Planning, and Finance teams.
Ensure timely availability of materials to avoid production delays.
Guide and supervise junior store staff and ensure discipline and safety norms.

Continuous Improvement

Identify opportunities for process improvement in stores and inventory management.
Support implementation of best practices in materials handling and storage.

Key Skills & Competencies

Strong knowledge of
SAP MM module
Inventory control & warehouse management
Good understanding of procurement and supply chain processes
Analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and coordination abilities
Knowledge of FIFO / LIFO / ABC analysis

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or Engineering
SAP MM certification (preferred)
