Store Supervisor - Stone Crusher Plant

Responsibilities:

  • Inventory Management:
  • Maintain accurate records of all spare parts and materials in the store.
  • Monitor and manage stock levels to ensure optimal inventory levels.
  • Conduct regular stock audits and reconcile any discrepancies.
  • Procurement and Ordering:
  • Collaborate with the procurement team to ensure timely ordering of spare parts.
  • Place orders with approved suppliers based on inventory requirements.
  • Negotiate pricing and terms with suppliers to ensure cost-effectiveness.
  • Receiving and Inspection:
  • Receive incoming shipments, verify contents, and check for damages.
  • Inspect spare parts for quality and compliance with specifications.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to resolve any issues with delivered items.
  • Storage and Organization:
  • Implement an organized storage system for easy retrieval of spare parts.
  • Ensure proper labeling and categorization of all items in the store.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly store environment.
  • Distribution and Issuance:
  • Fulfill internal requests for spare parts and materials promptly.
  • Keep a detailed record of items issued, including quantities and recipients.
  • Monitor and control access to the store to prevent unauthorized withdrawals.
  • Documentation and Reporting:
  • Prepare and maintain accurate documentation related to inventory transactions.
  • Generate regular reports on inventory levels, consumption, and stock movement.
  • Provide management with insights on stock trends and recommendations.
  • Coordination with Maintenance Team:
  • Collaborate with the maintenance team to understand their spare parts needs.
  • Plan and anticipate requirements to ensure the availability of critical items.
  • Facilitate communication between the store and maintenance departments.
  • Safety and Compliance:
  • Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines when handling and storing materials.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections in the store area.
  • Supervision and Training:
  • Lead and supervise store personnel, providing guidance and support.
  • Conduct training sessions on store procedures and safety protocols.
  • Evaluate and assess the performance of store staff.
  • Continuous Improvement:
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements in inventory management.
  • Implement best practices to enhance the efficiency of store operations.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in inventory control.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in supply chain management is a plus.
  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in the mining or construction industry.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficient in using inventory management software.
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and compliance standards.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
