Job Description

Role & responsibilities Key Responsibilities: 1. Inventory Management: Receive incoming materials, verify quantities, and process Goods Receipt Note (GRN) using MIGO/Scroll/Scanning processes. Forward material inspection reports to the QA department. Handle purchase returns, generate credit memos, and raise purchase return invoices for rejected materials. Maintain First In, First Out (FIFO) method for issuing materials to production. Monitor shelf life of materials and process material reservations in SAP daily. Manage the receipt of return materials from production monthly. Maintain accurate inventory records. 2. Gate Pass Management : Raise Returnable and Non-Returnable Gate Passes (RGP & NRGP) based on departmental requests. Create delivery challans in SAP and maintain an Excel register for RGP & NRGP. Follow up with vendors to ensure timely return of materials and process necessary SAP entries upon receipt. 3. Job Work/Subcontract Management: Send materials to job workers based on job work requests. Create delivery challans/Sub-con challans in SAP, generate E-Way bills, and send materials to job workers. Collect acknowledgments from job workers and follow up for timely return of materials. Process GRN for job work materials and forward them to quality for inspection. Reconcile job work materials in SAP and close delivery challans. Collect and post scrap from job workers in SAP and transfer to the scrap location. 4. Scrap Management: Transfer scrap from production to the scrap yard based on the production scrap register. Maintain an Excel register for scraps and necessary forms for hazardous/non-hazardous waste. Act as custodian for the scrap yard and generate sales invoices/DC during waste disposal. 5. Warehouse Management: Organize and manage warehouse layout for optimal space utilization. Ensure safety and security measures in the warehouse. Maintain 5S and EHS standards in the warehouse. Ensure proper storage and handling of chemicals and hazardous materials. Conduct monthly physical stock verification and post inventory differences in SAP. Prepare Aspect Impact & HIRA Register (SCM Scope) and issue EHS Work Permits. Provide CAPEX requirements and follow up with the purchase team for procurement. Ensure Reorder Level (ROL), Minimum, and Maximum stock levels for inventory. Supervise and train warehouse and logistics staff. Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures. Maintain records of all transactions and shipments. Circulate reports on non-moving stock, excess inventory, and shelf life. Scrap non-moving/obsolete stock. 6. Dispatch Coordination: Arrange materials as per the dispatch plan. Book vehicles and ensure their condition for dispatch. Ensure proper stacking norms for loading finished goods. Create Stock Transfer Orders (STO), scan materials, and raise invoices and E-Way bills in SAP . Provide dispatch intimation to branches. Verify freight bills and process scrolls for accounting. Required Skills & Qualifications Bachelors degree in supply chain management, Logistics, or a related field. 6+ years of experience in store/warehouse management. Proficiency in SAP (MM Module), inventory control, and warehouse operations. Knowledge of safety regulations and hazardous material handling. Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to manage a team and work under pressure.
