Role & responsibilities

Sales & Forecasting

• Analyze sales figures and forecast future sales volumes to maximize profits.
  
• Use information technology tools for recording sales data, analysis, and forward planning.
  

Inventory Management

• Manage stock levels and make key decisions about stock control.
  
• Analyze and interpret trends to support effective planning.
  

Store Operations & Customer Service

• Ensure standards for quality, customer service, health, and safety are met.
  
• Report and handle health, safety, legal, and security issues while maintaining hygiene.
  
• Ensure a safe and clean environment for both employees and customers.
  
• Respond to customer complaints and feedback promptly.
  

Team Management

• Manage and motivate the team to increase sales and improve efficiency.
  
• Conduct appraisals and performance reviews.
  
• Lead the recruitment and selection process to hire the right talent and reduce attrition.
  

Training & Development

• Organize training and development programs for the store team.
  
• Prepare the team for performance excellence and continuous learning.
  

Communication

• Attend and chair regular meetings.
  
• Keep colleagues updated on business performance, new initiatives, and important issues.
  

Market Analysis

• Stay informed about market trends in the retail industry.
  
• Understand customer initiatives and monitor competitor activities.
  

Store Efficiency

• Initiate changes to improve business performance (e.g., adjusting store hours to remain competitive).
  
• Handle sales activities as needed.
  

Marketing

• Coordinate with the corporate team to implement marketing strategies.
  
• Drive special promotions, displays, and events to boost sales.
  

Merchandising

• Ensure compliance with Apples merchandising guidelines.
  

Grievance Handling

• Regularly tour the sales floor, engage with staff and customers, and promptly resolve issues.
  

Mystery Audits

• Train and prepare the team to achieve 100% scores in mystery audits.
  
• Monitor and enhance team awareness and audit readiness.
