Job Description

As an experienced Material Handling Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the receipt and unloading of raw materials with proper documentation such as delivery challans, invoices, and purchase orders. You will verify the quantity and quality of materials received against purchase orders in coordination with the Quality Control team. Your key responsibilities will include issuing raw materials to production and outsourcing teams as per schedules and ensuring the supply of raw materials to outsourcing vendors based on the Picklist. In addition, you will be in charge of ensuring that storage conditions meet material-specific requirements, such as rustproofing and weather protection. You will supervise contract workmen for material handling and ensure safe material handling practices are followed. Your role will also involve posting MR/Picklist in SAP and developing a systematic layout for materials in storage to optimize space utilization. Furthermore, you will conduct regular safety drills and training sessions for contract workers handling materials. It will be your responsibility to enforce adherence to material handling safety standards, including the proper use of tools and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Qualifications Required: - Proven experience in material handling and supervision - Knowledge of SAP for MR/Picklist posting - Strong understanding of material storage requirements and safety standards - Excellent communication and leadership skills - Ability to coordinate with multiple teams and vendors effectively If there are any additional details about the company in the job description, please provide them.,
