Store Keeper

Job Summary:

The Store Keeper will be responsible for receiving, storing, issuing, and managing inventory of goods/materials in the warehouse/store. Ensure stock is maintained in an orderly manner, documentation is accurate, and goods are issued timely to internal departments. Maintain safety, cleanliness, and security of the store.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive incoming goods: check for quantity, quality, and compliance with order documents (invoice, purchase order, delivery note).
• Unload, inspect, and stack materials properly in designated locations.
• Maintain proper labeling, marking, and organization of items (batch numbers, expiry dates, PO numbers etc.).
• Issue materials/components to production or sales/other internal departments as per requisitions.
• Maintain up‑to‑date stock records: bin cards, stock cards, or in the inventory management system.
• Perform regular physical stock checks / cycle counts, reconcile discrepancies and report.
• Monitor inventory levels and raise requisition for reordering when stock falls below threshold.
• Ensure correct storage of goods: protection from dust, moisture, damage, pests; maintain proper conditions if required (e.g. temperature, humidity).
• Ensure FIFO (First‑In, First‑Out) or FEFO (First Expired First Out) practices where applicable.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of store/warehouse.
• Maintain proper documentation for goods receipt, issues, returns, rejects etc.
• Assist in periodic audits of inventory.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Graduation or diploma in relevant field (warehouse/logistics/supply chain) – higher qualification preferred.
• Prior experience (1‑3 years or more) in store keeping / inventory management in manufacturing.
• Familiarity with inventory management systems or ERP software.
• Basic computer skills: MS Excel, database entry, generating reports.
• Physical ability to lift/move goods, work standing for long hours.
• Integrity, honesty, trustworthiness (stock handling demands high accuracy and minimal losses).

Working Conditions:

• Work in warehouse/store environment; possibly dusty, exposure to heat/cold depending on product.
• Manual work including lifting, moving materials.
• May require shift work or odd hours, if required by operations.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
