Inventory management: Receiving, storing, and issuing materials; performing regular stock counts; managing and maintaining accurate inventory records; and preparing lists of slow-moving items.
Daily operations: Overseeing day-to-day store activities, which may include opening and closing the store, managing cash registers, and coordinating with other departments.
Customer service: Providing excellent service, assisting customers with inquiries, and resolving complaints promptly to ensure high satisfaction levels.
Staff management: Supervising store staff, training new employees, and ensuring all staff adhere to store policies and procedures.
Reporting and administration: Completing daily, weekly, or monthly reports on store performance, inventory levels, and sales; submitting relevant documents to other departments, such as accounts.
