Store Executive - Manufacturing / Automotive / Sheet metal

Position: Store Executive
Experience Required: 3 to 6 Years
Department: Stores / Materials
Location: Anjanpura Industrial area Bangalore
Reporting To: Stores Manager / Plant Head

Key Responsibilities

1. Inventory Management

• Maintain accurate stock levels and update inventory records daily.
• Conduct regular stock audits, cycle counts, and reconciliation of physical vs. system stock.
• Monitor minimum and maximum stock levels; initiate purchase requests as needed.
• Ensure proper identification, labeling, and traceability of materials.

2. Material Receipt & Issue

• Receive incoming materials, verify quantity/quality against PO and delivery challans.
• Coordinate with QC for material inspection and acceptance.
• Issue materials to production, maintenance, and other departments as per approved requisitions.
• Maintain FIFO / LIFO / FEFO as per company process.

3. Documentation & System Updates

• Maintain GRN, MRN, Issue Slips, Return Notes, and other store documents.
• Update ERP/MRP systems (SAP/Tally/ERP) for material inward, outward, and stock movement.
• Prepare daily, weekly & monthly inventory reports.

4. Storage & Housekeeping

• Ensure safe storage of raw materials, consumables, tools, and finished goods.
• Maintain proper racks, bins, and storage layout for easy traceability.
• Follow 5S, safety, and material handling standards.

5. Coordination & Communication

• Coordinate with Purchase, Production, QC, and Dispatch teams.
• Ensure material availability to avoid line stoppages.
• Support dispatch team for packing, labeling, and shipment documentation.

6. Compliance

• Ensure adherence to ISO 9001 / IATF / AS9100 requirements (as applicable).
• Maintain proper records for audits and participate in internal/external audits.
• Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with company policies.

Skills & Qualifications

• B.Com Graduate / Diploma in Mechanical, Production, or related field
• 3–6 years experience in Stores Automotive or manufacturing industry.
• Strong knowledge of inventory management, 5S, FIFO/FEFO, and documentation.
• Good communication, analytical, and coordination skills.
• Ability to handle manpower and work under pressure.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
